As the detective turns on the recorder, Izuku wonders how absolutely exhausting it must be to have to go through every student and staff in UA and ask them if they're the traitor. After Bakugou's kidnapping, Nedzu gave the school a full lockdown. No one's been allowed in or out until the Detective gives the A-okay, which is kind of ironic because if the Detective was the traitor then that would just cause chaos.
"My legal name is Midoriya Izuku," he says calmly and with careful words.
"True. What is your quirk status?"
Here he hesitates. And obviously for a second too long if the twitch in the Detective's right eyebrow means anything.
"...well u-um legally I'm quirkless so…"

Bakugou Katsuki is only just beginning to figure himself out. After Deku saves him from the slime villain, he starts putting pieces together that he had never acknowledged before. Is it possible that at fifteen years old, there are still things about himself that he doesn't know yet? And why the hell is Deku acting so fucking weird?
