"Who. The fuck. Else. Is going to." He gritted, glaring across at him. Dick went quiet, and the basement's darkness seemed to flatten the air around them as they stood in each other's company, slightly awkward.
Dick swallowed, making an aborted gesture over at him. "So what are you a ghostbuster or something?"
"Oh my god," Jason groaned to himself, instantly turning and walking over to the hole leading out, preparing his grapple so he could leave. He did not have time for this.

Having use of the All-Blades means Jason's pretty used to being the most qualified person in Gotham to deal with supernatural issues. Why Dick's randomly started trying to help he has no fucking clue.

Summary
He can hear Hood’s harsh breathing, and he turns the corner, tossing the knife.
It sails over him, but makes him duck for cover, providing Roy with a window to fucking jump over the back of his couch and land on Hood.
A bit scuffling, misplaced elbows, Roy ends up on top with a knee to Hood’s throat and another pinning his arm down.
He’ll admit, it wasn’t the best position (it was slightly compromising), with him having to clutch the backrest with one hand and another on Hood’s thigh, but beggars can’t be choosers.
Or vigilantes with their lives at risk.

Then, two things happened at once. First, he noticed very ironically despite his past reassurance that someone from his Red Hood days was in fact in the cafe. The good news is that it was likely plausible that he wouldn't be recognized, as it was Roy Harper, his former teammate. The red head had seemed quite focused on trying to balance a tray of coffee, bagel, and work bag. The second, was in his defence, not his fault as he had been so shocked to see Roy. Then, he was bumped into by the man, spilling three steaming hot coffees onto him, but more importantly his unfinished book.
“Oh my god, Jesus, Fuck, I’m so so sorry. I wasn’t looking where I was going.” That was the first thing Roy had said to Jason in over 4 years. It seemed anti-climactic for a moment like this, but then again, Jason didn’t think, and partly hoped that Roy didn’t recognize him.
“Clearly.” Okay, maybe that was a bit rude.
