It was true that they had been experimenting as of late, the lines of domination and control blurring between them as Shane was slowly growing in his confidence and his desire to see just how far he could push Ilya. It hadn’t taken him long at all to realize he could get away with practically anything with his adorable freckles and the prettiest of brown eyes.
It wasn’t hard to get Ilya to want to submit to him when he was as gorgeous as he was, when he spoke as sweetly to him as he did, with his low voice that begged Ilya to be good for him, so that he could be good to Ilya in return.

This is how it happens sometimes.
Ilya’s usually the one in charge. He says just the right filthy, loaded, and persuasive words. He strips them both and pushes Shane onto the bed or the nearest flat surface. From the moment things get heated, Shane is usually putty in his hands.
Sometimes, though. Sometimes Ilya doesn’t call the shots (sometimes, maybe, he doesn’t want to). Sometimes, Shane makes a sharp, straightforward statement, leaving Ilya feeling unmoored. When this happens, any chance Ilya had at being in control is instantly gone.
Seven words from Shane, and Ilya loses every bit of power he may have held.

Is it possible to want someone so badly? For someone’s body to vibrate to the frequency of Remus’ name, just enunciating Moony, Moony, Moony till the end of his days? It’s as if he was created just to love him, to worship him, to whisper to him how much he is loved and cared for into Remus’ hairline. So now, when he is physically restrained to keep away from Moony, to be refused to do the one thing he was born to do, it feels like his very being is being chewed up and spit out, then shredded into pieces.

As much as he hates to admit it, Anakin is Touch-Starved. As a young padawan, touch was uncomfortable. It reminded him of Shmi, and so he avoided it. As an older, touch-desperate padawan, he comes to regret his reaction heavily. In need for a hug, Anakin sets a plan in motion to get Obi-Wan to touch him, even if it was simply a mere brush of fingertips. Obi-Wan is oblivious to the young padawan's struggle.
OR
Anakin creates plans to try and get Obi-Wan to touch him, but it doesn't work, leaving him worse off than before. It takes a while before Obi-Wan notices Anakin is struggling, and he tries to resolve the issue before it is too late. He doesn't succeed the first time.

As far as bad habits go, it wasn’t the grossest one Arthur could have settled on and it didn’t bother Merlin other than sometimes, when Merlin would bum a pencil off Arthur, he’d be handed something that was technically a pencil but looked more like something a beaver would build a home with.
And besides, it’s not like he would often get distracted by the way Arthur’s tongue would swirl around a pen cap or poke between his lips when sliding a straw from one side of his mouth to another or the way all that chewing would sometimes make spit glisten across his lips when they were clamped around the length of a pencil.
