Not like this at least, with harsh, freezing drops of water pelting down from a dark, clouded sky that hurt Kaeya's skin and soak through his clothes. And definitely not rain accompanied by brilliant flashes of light, and crashes of startling sound that seem to shake the very earth. No, nothing like that.
But it did rain fire in Khaenri'ah once.

Before he can do or say or even think anything else, the door suddenly gives way behind him and he falls onto the floor with a thud and a small yelp. He's greeted with Klee looming over him, albeit upside down in his vision, a question directed at him through her groggy eyes.

“Mr. Diluc, you’re a Pyro user.”
“… yes.” It wasn’t phrased as a question, but he hedged anyway, unsure as to where this was leading. When it came to Klee, you could never know.
“Yes,” she repeated to reaffirm. “That means you can help me fight the big ice flower, right?”
“Ice flower…?” Mist flowers? Why would she need to—oh. “Do you mean the Cryo Regisvine?” He narrowed his eyes at Klee who widened hers and nodded emphatically. Oh, Barbatos. “Why,” he said, “do you want to fight that of all things? You’re not a Cryo user. You don’t need them.”
The hesitation in Klee’s eyes appeared as quick as it was apparent.
Klee wants to harvest Hoarfrost Cores for Kaeya, but she’s not allowed to do it alone. Against his better judgement, Diluc agrees to help out. This is only for Klee. He doesn’t give a damn about the intended recipient. Well, at least, he isn't supposed to.
