Summary
Kaveh usually doesn't get sick until he's finished a project. Maybe his body can recognise when it needs to keep itself together until it's safe enough to fall apart. But after an attack from some Treasure Hoarders leaves him injured, he catches an incredibly annoying cold. This leaves him recovering on Alhaitham's couch and easy pickings for Alhaitham's terrible taste in conversation topics and decorations. He doesn't understand how one man can be so knowledgeable while simultaneously being so, so ignorant.
Living with Alhaitham is going to drive Kaveh crazy.

Summary
The worst part of Kaveh's 'itinerant lifestyle,' so to speak, is trying to balance being perceived by others with the delicate nature of currently not living somewhere beyond the perception of others. The best part is the reliable supply of alcohol, which is a luxury that Kaveh would otherwise be unable to afford. With no other projects, what better way to pass the time than drinking? After all, it's not like he can just walk into the desert and finally be done with this whole mess - and Kaveh would sooner do that than reach out for help.
If only Alhaitham had gotten the memo.

A series in which Sam and Dean are homeschooled, based on this post that I took and sprinted with. This series is marked as complete, as each fic is complete and can (technically) be read without reading the others.

Summary
A collection of the several Dragon Age fics and ficlets that I have written and will continue to produce, probably. These are all set in Dragon Age: Inquisition with Inquisition characters so far. As none of the fics are necessarily connected, the series is marked as complete.

Summary
“That is an unusual question for someone to ask, I must say,” Flins murmurs, seeming rather unfazed. “I hesitate to assume anything, of course, but may I ask if it comes from the curiosity of anyone in particular?”
He can feel Flins’ stare on his cheek. His own is resolutely focused on the booth. For Illuga, it’s hard not to worry the most about those who show the least signs of battle and fatigue. He’ll ask whatever questions necessary to remind him that he wants him safe - and he’s curious, too, he won’t deny that.
“A little bird was the one who asked, if you can believe it.”
(Or: A series of detours, a dreadful fall into an isolated cave, and Flins' well-hidden plans for Illuga to get some rest.)

Summary
“I seem to have been… in a bit of a kerfuffle,” Illuga said, trying to explain himself even as Flins forced him to sit down, “while on the way to visit you.”
“The Wild Hunt?”
“The Wild Hunt,” Illuga confirmed. “And… ah, I’m so sorry about all the blood on your floor—”
“Please don’t be.”
“—but I’m afraid I’ll have to impose on you a little more,” Illuga scratched his head. His other hand—his non-dominant one, thankfully—had a long, bleeding cut on it that was still oozing blood onto Flins’ floor. “I lost all the supplies I was bringing to you, and now… might I borrow some of your medical supplies? I’ll bring back some more soon.”
Illuga made it his job to look out for Flins—but who’s taking care of who, really?

Summary
“Wow,” Will breathes out, just on this edge of teasing. “You sound very confident about this.”
“Well,” Mike shrugs, swallowing hard in a desperate attempt to soothe his very, very dry mouth, “I don’t know why someone wouldn’t be interested in you.”
“Oh?” Will says, and it’s definitely teasing now, enough for Mike to feel himself turning warm, all down his neck and to the tips of his own – sadly unpatterned – socks. “Someone?”
“Yeah.” Mike nods. Oh, god. This is fine. “In a very arbitrary sense of the word. Just– people. Someone.”
Mike is approximately ninety-eight percent sure that his feelings are requited. That last two percent, however, has really been throwing him for a loop.

Summary
He remembers, eyes squeezed shut against the swell of nausea and vertigo that claws through him, being not-quite-thirteen, and listening eagerly to Mr. Clarke explain the science behind dreams.
“Dreams,” he’d said, “are often seen as these sacred experiences, something that has to have a deeper meaning. We have centuries of examples of dream interpretation, the art of examining commonalities between different dreams to find a single interpretation.”
“The thing is,” he’d continued, “dreams are just your brain’s way of processing and regurgitating information; a fruit-salad of information, so-to-speak. Sure, it can mean something, but it’s more likely to be a random grab-bag of facts and feelings that you’ve come across in life.”
A fruit-salad of information. Here, in the dark bathroom at a little past three in the morning, Mike breathes carefully, and tries to dissect where the supposed ingredients of his fucked-up dream salad actually came from.
Or:
Vecna is weak. Injured. He's still strong enough to hit the Party where it hurts.
