The first thing Frank felt was the impact of his head hitting the hard metal of the bed as he tried to stand up. The second was his heart skipping a beat as soon as his gaze landed on the person waiting by the door.
They were, without a doubt, the most beautiful person Frank had seen in his entire life, holodeck simulations included. They had a PADD in their hands. They were smiling and looking at Frank like they had just witnessed the most pathetic scene in the world but were trying not to laugh out of professionalism. Their cheeks had a slight blush to them. They were probably the new nurse.

It had been around then that BJ decided enough was enough and called for a little reinforcement. If Hawkeye wasn’t comfortable talking to him about what he was going through, then maybe Sidney could help. Hawk had initially fought him, saying that it would be no use, that he couldn’t be fixed, that he didn’t want to be locked up and prodded like a specimen again, but all it took was one teary look from BJ for him to cave in.
