As he walked past the deli once more, he saw a head of familiarly blue hair. The man spoke sweetly to the cashier as she cut him up a slab of meat. The man was just in a hoodie and sweatpants—nothing even close to the things Avid remembered Scott wearing so maybe the blue haired man wasn’t the vampire he was thinking of...
Until he turned to the side—revealing a sparkling pair of fangs that is.
Avid froze.

Summary
The vampire hums thoughtfully, a dangerous gleam in those blood colored eyes. "Just because you're pretty doesn't mean I'll just let you kill me."
"What?!-" The human's exclamations of shock get cut off as the vampire effortlessly flips them over to pin the ravenette down with supernatural strength, knocking the wooden stake out of his hands in the process. The clattering of the weapon as it skids across the floor is deafening in his ears as panic floods his very soul.
"Such a reckless human, I think you ought to be taught a lesson." His chuckle echoes with a cruel tone, the creature's smile one of vicious malice.
The pit in his stomach grows ever wider, threatening to consume him whole.
"Wait, wait, wait!" Avid shouts, panicking and struggling as the vampire descends upon his neck.
Sharp canines pierce into his skin swiftly.
Before he can even think, he's moaning, wanton and loud, shocking both himself and Scott, who pulls back immediately to stare down at the shorter man.

Or, Interesting developments make Scott decide to keep Avid around. They are very gay in the process.
