Summary
A very long fanfic series for Wings of Fire I originally posted to FFN and was asked to post here, written from 2016 to 2020 (after Book 8), starting from the events leading up to Orca's death and ending three years after Arc 2. I've marked it as complete, but there were originally supposed to be 5 books in the series (over a million words!). A summary for the fourth and fifth appear at the end of Rising Flames (parts of which take place a hundred years after the end of Rising Flames), which should give some closure to anyone who gets through the whole thing.
The fic contains a mix of canon and original characters. Dark Seas is a single PoV for the entire time (though which character changes partway through), while the others have a larger cast and simultaneous but intersecting plotlines. It's generally an adventure story with some tragic mixed in, and was written to be a sort of sequel to the canon series - it expands on a number of the characters in canon, but isn't focused on them solely and is more plot based than character based. I've kept the violence and death level similar to Book 1 and Book 2 of canon rather than the later books. Animus magic plays a large role and I've tried to fix plot holes in canon.

Summary
You know more about freight operations than you ever though you would, that's what happens to a mechanics drop out kid. You've passed up "better" jobs because working over night at Fazco's Mega Pizza Plex is easy. You do your job, only your job, and you do it to a fucking T. You keep a couple guys in line, don't bother security and no one messes with you.
Why then, is that overgrown, betty spaghetti looking mother fucker of a "night guard" on your case? What about your clothes? This bitch in on.
Basically you are the worst scrunklo Moon has ever seen. A complete mess. At first he just wants you to either get fired(as you should) or follow the rules like everyone else. Somehow, in between the insults and the complete inability to care for yourself, you endear yourself to him. He thinks maybe the cost of a fixer upper might be worth it after all.

They lay together on the couch, the house strangely quiet. Wriothesley watches his thumb moving back and forth over Neuvillette’s body. Remembers the way his hands disappeared in the bathwater. He wants to think it was just a weird trick of the light, but Wriothesley isn’t in the habit of lying to himself.
Maybe there’s something wrong with him. Maybe Neuvillette’s gift of humanity is unraveling somehow. That’s terrifying. It would mean humanity was conditional or limited by time. Or that something can undo that gift. Something? Maybe someone.
When Wriothesley begins experiencing strange changes, he and Neuvillette must investigate the cause or risk losing each other forever.
