“I could wear that,” Jon said, idly, because he could, the clothes themselves had never bothered him. The dresses reminded him of old photographs of his grandmother as a young woman, though it was men in these photos, with slicked-back hair and shy, pleased smiles to go with their swing dresses.
“I would die,” Martin said, almost too honest, and Jon couldn't help but crack a smile. “It's, well. It's a bit more than that though I think? I just like the whole. God.” He covered his face with his free hand. “It's like a whole housewife thing, where you're—dressing up like that and tending to me, and look, I know how it sounds--” He broke off and shot a glance at Jon, who was entirely failing to hide the way his smile was widening. “Oh, don't start.”

“Is it that you want to be—little?” Martin asks. He has a distant memory of seeing something like this online, once or twice, although he doesn't think that was in a sexual context.
He can just barely see the way Jon's face twists in the low light. “Yes and no. I think given my—complicated relationship with sexuality sometimes it's easier to pretend I know nothing about it. That I'm of an age where I wouldn't be expected to know anything about it, and that someone I trust is touching me in ways that feel good, but aren't something I understand. And sometimes it's just—nice to feel small and taken care of. I know that's all... a bit much to ask for.”

Summary
In precisely sixteen minutes, it will start to storm, Jon Knows. He can feel the potential of it vibrating through the air. Petrichor seeping in through the cracks in the windows, making his nose tingle with it, the clouds darkening with each passing moment. And as the storm begins, instead of Martin coming back through the door, a “stranger” will knock on the door, desperate to escape the pounding rain.
He will be welcomed in. As for what happens after that--
Jon tries not to squirm as he watches Martin linger in the doorway, thinking of the solidity of him. The strength. How easily this stranger will be able to hold him down.

Jon nods, and when Martin holds his hand over, Jon takes his cigarette back. It seems so simple and easy, in that moment. The two of them sharing space in this little pocket away from the rest of the world, passing the one shared cigarette back and forth and watching as it burns down to nothing.

Martin reaches out and twines his fingers in Jon’s hair, rubbing over his scalp until he slumps into Martin a little harder, like an overgrown cat getting a good scritch. “Jon,” he says, and closes his eyes. “Honestly, I don’t know? I don’t really have, uh. I don’t know what’s going on with me.”
“You liked it when I called you a good girl,” Jon says softly, resting a hand on Martin’s knee and rubbing his thumb back and forth, slow and soothing. “Do you want--I can do that again, if you like. I don’t mind.”
“I did,” Martin says, and it feels very real to say it aloud.

And I heal quickly, so something like—ah, stomach acid, wouldn't be nearly as much of a concern for me as it would be for someone else. ”
“I wouldn't know,” Martin says, and then very obviously reaches down and pinches himself. “Right. Okay. Not dreaming then, was wondering about that a bit. Anyway, I wouldn't know, because no one else has ever asked me to eat them.”

“When you slapped me,” Jon says, his fingers still entwined with Martin's. He stares straight ahead, into the endless stretch of rooms and hallways in the hotel they are winding through. It's not Helen's domain, but it's not far off. Another space touched by the Distortion.
Martin's pulse kicks up a notch. He remembers now. Of course he does. In the moment it was lost in the searing heat of the flames and the burning in his lungs, the weight of it all pressing down on him so heavy he couldn't focus on anything else, but.
He remembers the way Jon's eyes closed. The way that, just for a moment, Jon's whole body went limp and swayed towards him. The absolute surrender of it.
“Yeah,” he says. His voice is rough.
“I want you to do it again,” Jon says.

He almost shouted the last part, making Martin flinch slightly and raise his hands in defence.
“Jesus, Jon! You want to know? Honestly? Fine. Here’s what I want, right now, in this moment. I want to fucking pick you up and carry you into my flat and tie you up with rope so that you can just bloody rest for a few hours. I’ve got rope, did you know that? Yeah. It’s not because I’m evil, though. It’s because sometimes I just like to tie people up. You know, as a sex thing. Or not a sex thing, that’s cool too. I’d tie you up, Jon, and I’d feed you good food, and I’d make you lie down and sleep for a whole night, and then maybe you’d wake up and you’d be able to bloody think straight!”

Or, Jon decides he might as well let Martin tie him up. It turns out a lot nicer than he’s expecting.
