Summary
One for All is a strange little quirk. Logically, a stockpiling quirk should store energy or power and nothing else. But logic tends to fail when quirks develop minds of their own. Still it has a goal and despite what its current holder may believe, All for One is still an active threat and Yagi is in no condition to fight him. One for All is a transferrable quirk that cannot be taken, but if Yagi won't pass it on then it'll leave on its own terms.
Izuku just wants to help. But no matter what he does no one will ever take him seriously. After bumping into a sickly man while walking home one day, Izuku wakes up to his alarm clock in pieces and a quirk that he always dreamed of. Now if only he could figure out how to use it.

But after such a strange encounter, he could check it off his list of abnormal things that happened during hunting expeditions. Along with the roguish man riding a giant monster who quite literally swept him off his feet before sending him tumbling to the ground. What are the chances that these two things happen on the same day, let alone within mere minutes of each other? This trip was already turning out to be one of the weirdest he'd ever been on, but he had a sinking feeling that things would only get worse from there.
