Summary

Set in the world of season two, we follow the story of Neldoriel, a Noldor Elf, as she discovers Adar’s Uruk camp while on her travels through Middle Earth. Over time they get to know each other, and he finally finds love and acceptance after his long years of loneliness and pain. She helps him overcome his traumatic past and find spiritual redemption and together they find peace among the golden leaves.

Summary
“Why have you stopped?” Adar tries to keep the edges of his irritation tamped. But he knows she can hear them tucked along the edges of his words nonetheless as mirth glitters through her eyes despite the wash of tired, furious stubbornness that is their default setting in these days.
“It is hot.” The declaration comes in the tone of the command. In the righteous smugness that rears less these days but manifests, Adar suspects, specifically for him, in times where they are both worn thin.
Galadriel's hand comes up to rest on the mane of her horse, fingers tangling through it, soothing. “The horses are hot.” She adds and turns her eyes on him again, and her eyebrows seem to say. And you? In challenge.

Or, in the midst of a long journey, Adar and Galadriel stop by the side of a lake. There's banter, skinny dipping, and, despite everything, something soft.
