The green was similar to the leaves from the tree. It probably got stuck there when the animal flew into the branches after picking up its meal. Yuichirou followed Mika’s gaze, watching the sparrow swallow the soft, yellowish bug.
The soldier looked back down, lost in the foreign expression in Mika’s crimson eyes. An unspoken whisper of many lingering feelings barely reached a tug of his lips. His mouth was parted, fangs peeking from the entrance only to be hidden as he hid his face in his hair.

Plot:
Yuu and Mika reunited in an abandoned building. Overcome by obsession and love, Yuichirou leaves his squad to hide away with Mika under the protection of Krul. Five years later, after the dictatorship of Kureto had fallen, the squad attempted to find their friend once more. With the help of Guren, they were able to locate his new home. Reuniting with Yuichirou was amazing, and even long lost feelings bubbled to the surface. But Yuichirou isn't living alone. There's a monster in his bedroom, and their love is not one to overlook.The squad are worried, but one wrong move could tick off the human and the vampire. Sometimes, it's better to just let the past go, except if you're Mikaela and Yuu.
