“My name is Alejandro Gonzalez,” Alejandro said. “What do you want?”
“Well, Mr. Gonzalez, I suggest that you make sure that everyone is accounted for,” the Callistan Crusader said as he moved his hands and a handful of workers were spat out of the second floor onto the first, landing hard enough that one of them screamed with pain, although no one appeared to be irreversibly injured. “Or I will do significantly worse.”

He curled around his torso, as if to protect his spark. Then, he noticed the hand. “Stay the fuck away –”
Optinus looked at him, confused, afraid, until – of course. The conjunx endura bond. Hurting him, really hurting him, hurt Megatron, too.

Wandering. until he, vaguely intrigued by a rather intricate detection and camouflage array in the middle of nowhere, goes to investigate, and finds a retirement home in the middle of a forest.
Who should be residing there, but Sandu Shengshou?
Who...lets Lan Xichen stay?
Feeds him?
Listens to him?
Who...might be a different man than Lan Xichen thought he was?
