Sieun knows that Suho likes him
He does not struggle to understand this, because Suho is honest and open and has never found a reason to be ashamed of expressing himself.
So one day when Suho’s ready to move on to better things, to someone who fits him well and is pretty on top, Sieun won’t hold the breakup against him.
He knows that Suho will do it kindly—will take Sieun out on one last date before breaking the news gently outside his front door.
And Sieun will thank him for spending his time dating a boy like him. Simple and quiet with nothing to offer.

Suho laughs in disbelief and leans his head down so it knocks onto Sieun’s shoulder. He squeezes Sieun’s hands until both of his own are trembling.
“Yeon Sieun, you’re unbelievable. Ambushing me like that is mean,” he laughs.
Sieun leans his head against Suho’s. “I didn’t think I’d get to have this,” he murmurs.
“Have what, jagi?”
“Love.”

“What if I want to?” He retorted, tone harsh.
“Okay. Let’s do that then.” He said, turning to look at the waves too.

"You like it?" Suho asks, before dropping his gaze back down to concentrate.
The question confuses Sieun. He stares then, towards Suho’s face, but he makes no gesture to elaborate. He is still immersed in the guitar, playing the song without vocals.
"The song? Sure, it’s nice." Sieun tries to play it off and act nonchalant. He wants Suho to wonder if they have a lot in common. He wants him to know that they could have similar interests, and things like that. He wants Suho to want to get to know him the way he wants to know Suho. He feels embarrassed now, so he makes sure to bite his tongue to keep himself from speaking again.
"No. I mean—” a pause, “You like the way I play it?"
Or, Suho plays guitar.
