In one glorious half-hour, Alastor has broken or completed three contracts, freed himself from two separate forms of bondage, and enjoyed a rousing jaunt through nearly half the Pentagram. Incidentally, he may also have shattered Vox’s psyche and his heart. But you know what they say about making omelettes; that was a price he was prepared to pay.
He is less prepared to be personally tasked with unscrambling the eggs.

Summary
Their lips are already pressed against each other when Lucifer remembers he shouldn’t be doing this.
The demon tastes like smoke, ethanol, and something deceptively sweet. Like he always does. It took quite a bit to acclimatise to at first, but now Lucifer clings to the taste like it's the only thing keeping him in this plane of existence.
With how far it feels like he's fallen, perhaps it is.

After the battle against Heaven, Vox follows Alastor into a bar. Conversation eventually turns to the Hell's Hottest Poll, and while Vox feels confident in his victory, Alastor isn't so sure.
And a bet is made.
