What Dr. Hwang hadn’t considered is that Dongmin’s very start leads back to Donghyun — always Donghyun, even after all this time — who used to be Dongmin’s best friend and first boyfriend and all-time favourite person in the entire universe, and also the one guy Dongmin really, really wishes he didn’t have to see right now.
(Dongmin’s plan was simple: go to the guidance office. Sit down for a session. Get advice for whatever weird burnout he’s currently experiencing. His ex-boyfriend standing behind the front desk was definitely not part of the plan.)

"Yeah." Dongmin swallows thickly and somehow manages to hold his heart high enough for it to not drop and crash onto the floor. "Hey, Jaehyun."
(Being roommates with a certain Myung Jaehyun would be so much easier if he wasn’t Dongmin’s ex-best friend.)
