Summary
They were used to being left behind, whether by choice, oath, or otherwise, but never were they without each other. Eärendil had sailed, Elwing had flown, Maedhros had burned, and Maglor had vanished for thousands of years. But not Elros, never Elros.
(But it was no longer an and Elrond anymore.
Just Elrond.)
In which Elros and Elrond reunite once more, over six thousand years later

Summary
Dooku feels Qui-Gon cutting all his bonds after Xanatos' fall.
He is painfully aware of the consequences that could have. Has. Especially for mid-mission Shadow Feemor.
Feemor was in the middle of a high-stakes stakeout, when suddenly, without any warning, Qui-Gon cuts their bond. Rips it apart, more like it. Feemor isn't in a high-stakes stakeout any longer after that.
In which Dooku blanks for a few days, saves a caught-eavesdropping-on-smugglers Feemor and Feemors brand new, one-sided rescue project in the form of a very unconscious teen Jango Fett, and starts his career as a hobby cook and freestyle gardener.
Neither of the parties realize their respective affiliations until it's almost too late.

Summary
Anakin Falls on the battlefield, on a small dusty planet in the Mid Rim that’s largely unimportant in the grand scale of the war. His men are dying in scores around him, screaming, spilling their guts onto the pockmarked ground, and something that has been pulling tighter and tighter over the course of the war, over the course of his whole life—between one decapitated droid and the next, something snaps in his chest. He doesn't know it, but he's more than a year early.
Or: Anakin navigates the path from straight up not noticing, to denial, to buying a pair of ugly sunglasses to hide his unfortunate Darksider eye condition, to a number of Sith lords dying in uniquely creative ways. If he reaches acceptance, it just might save the galaxy.

Summary
There were two young Finwëan men named after stars living with Círdan at the end of the First Age. One of them, Eӓrendil, abruptly disappeared, his fate known only in legends. Around the same time, the other, Gil-galad, abruptly *appeared*, his origins shrouded in myth.
But like they say of Superman comics… there’s no way Clark Kent could be Superman. We all know where Superman lives—what would he be doing running around in disguise? That’s ridiculous, right?
Right?
*Look. It wasn’t like Eӓrendil had planned to disobey (another!) edict of the Valar, fake his death, lie about his identity, cheat fate, meet his apparently-not-dead sons, and become the king of the remaining Exiles. It all just… snowballed.*Bookmarked by nessiesson
