Summary
Castiel has never complained about being referred to as ‘a good soldier’. Why should he? It’s simpler. If he keeps his head down and does his duty, he keeps busy and is left alone. Everyone wins. This status quo is shattered when he stumbles upon a Knight of Hell, wounded and dying. Instead of leaving him to die, or finishing him off, Castiel realizes this particular scourge of the earth might be more useful alive than dead. So begins the process of healing one of the oddest Demons he’s had the displeasure of meeting. Summary
Twenty-year-old Dean Winchester hates fixing up stolen cars on the side for Gordon Walker. But with his grandfather’s dry-cleaning business slowly dying, medical bills piling up, and his younger brother Sam abandoning the prospect of attending college because of their grim situation, Dean convinces himself that it isn’t as reckless as it seems.
When everything goes belly up, leaving him in a troubling position with the wrong people, a representative of the Garrisons, the city’s most powerful and notorious family, offers Dean to help him with his situation in exchange for his employment.
The job is simple: drive the passenger a few times a week to yet-undisclosed locations and return with said passenger without fail. Don’t ask questions. Be on time. Be discreet.
And never interact with each other outside of work.
Shady, but simple.
So, he accepts.

Summary
Dean, Benny, Charlie, Garth, and Cas are old college buddies. In their thirties now, they meet up once a year to shed their adult responsibilities for a week. This year it's Garth's turn to choose where they go and he's still as obsessed with horror and weird shit as he was back in college. He ends up picking a supposedly deserted hotel in the friggin' mountains. The place is creepy as hell and as night falls, two things become increasingly apparent. One: the place isn’t as deserted as they first thought, and two: Dean’s college stalker is back from the dead.

Dean's hands were still wet with the blood from his workshop when he shoved Castiel against a wall, pinning him in place with the bar of his arm.
Castiel shoved back, snarling. Then he saw Dean’s pupils dilate until his eyes were black rather than green, and he realized what this was.
