Summary
Burnt out and exhausted with city life, Etho packs up and moves to the old abandoned farm his parents owned before he was born. It's sat empty for thirty years and it's not in a good state, but he's determined to make the most of it.
The town is full of good people, and he quickly finds friendship in abundance. Amongst them all though, one stands out. Bdubs is kind and funny and exceptionally talented at a number of things. He's handsome too, and Etho can't help but crush on him, just a little bit.
They get along fantastically right from day one, but Etho keeps his feelings to himself. It's just a crush, it'll go away. And besides, it's not like Bdubs would ever like him back... Right?

Summary
Etho is moving out of his finally small town and into the big city. Luckily for him, his ex lets crash at their place for the last night. Etho and Cleo spend the night talking of their past, his future, and basically anything. Then, there’s a large crash outside. Etho rushes out to find… a spaceship? And a passed out green thing. An alien? Etho is way too tired to deal with this.

Joel is on Earth for one reason and one reason only— to retrieve the Runaway Prince of his planet. He’s going to go get Grian and then he will leave. Then everything goes wrong. First his spaceship crashes and is totally wrecked, then he’s discovered by a human. (A rather cute human, in a Earthian-Mammal kind of way.) The guy: Etho, looks completely shocked and does not stop looking shocked as Joel explains his task. His eyebrows are still scrunched up and his mind 50 light years away when he agrees to help Joel. That’s when Joel’s mission changes. Yeah, he still wants to find Grian (or rather Prince Xelqua) and bring him back to their homeland…but that can wait for a bit, because bothering this white-hair Etho guy is 10x more interesting than any old mission.

The argument could be made that they weren’t leaving things out, the light bulbs were kind of needed but…
40 bucks? For nothing but baring through a frat party? Joel could get behind something like that. The guy had stuffed the bulb back into his jacket along with his hands, tilting his head back and forth as Joel stared at him Honestly, he looked like any other tired college student, one that could slip in and out of a party without much trouble. “...How do you tell the difference?” Joel found himself asking.
There was a pause, the guy’s eyes crinkling further for a moment before they fell back into some form of practiced neutrality. “Why?” He asked back, stepping closer to Joel. “Looking to get into the light bulb resale market?”
“Maybe.”
“Then why would I help a competitor?”
Or, instead of ratting out a random guy with sticky fingers, Joel decides to beat him at his own game.
