It was a mental mantra. The cook couldn't see it, but through his seared lungs and inflamed nostrils, he could feel it. Together with the calloused fingers matching his own, he knew he was in a slightly good place. He gripped Moze's hands tighter.

As part of Doctor Lingsha's orders, the Yaoqing Trio gets some R&R during the time of the Luminary Wardance. Moze keeps a close eye on Jiaoqiu in case something bad happens to him. Part of the recovery is about the Foxian rediscovering flavors that were once lost from his memory due to trauma and reliance towards spicy food to keep himself alive.
