“I promised your father from the moment I crawled out from my mother's cradle. I promised him that I would become your right-hand woman,” you exaggerated in a sing-song tone, all the while sharpening your arrow, “Kha’se has always been by your side during battles, hasn’t she?” you batted your eyelashes at him, a teasing grin adorning your face.
With arms crossed, Neteyam chuckled, eyes crinkling to a figure too similar to his mother's and a grin too charming like his father, he walked towards you with leisure and confidence. Alluring eyes towering over you as he entrapped your chin in between his fingers, tilting your head up with gentle force — you realized, eyes blinking, he has grown well.
“Mmhm,” he replied to you with fondness, breaths mingling, pitch black irises contracting as the both of you saw the reflections of yourself in each other's eyes. It was scary to see such a straight expression on your face, knowing your insides are molten lava in turmoil, about to erupt. “Kha’se has done a wonderful job by being my partner...”
“In battle.” Neteyam cackled.

The only reply that he gave was a grin, his irises twinkling like the stars above you as he faced you, beaming with a grin full of innocence — which is, untrue; because the rascal you’re in love with is an absolute insufferable being.
“That’s peculiar of you,” Marius started, amusement laced in his tone. A crooked grin still embedded in their lips, “Agreeing that you’re beautiful.”

Summary
Phainon has always been a strange person. He’s talkative, vocal, and… loud. He does a lot of weird things too, to the point where Mydei barely reacts anymore. That is, until something happens that makes Mydei question just what is going on with Phainon.
When an enemy catches Mydei off guard, Phainon rushes in to take the blow – stupid, considering Mydei’s the immortal one. However, something else catches them by surprise.
The thing bites Phainon in the ass.
In desperation, Phainon bends over and yells at Mydei to hit it, and Mydei slaps it as hard as he can. The resulting sound is a resounding smack that echoes throughout the area.
“Nnngh—!”
And that, too.
Mydei stares at Phainon in shock. Phainon, to his credit, looks equally mortified by the odd sound he just made. Mydei feels a little bad about it, but Phainon just brushes him off.
It doesn’t stop there. More strange things like this happen, Phainon laughing it off each time, and Mydei can’t help but wonder: What exactly is Phainon trying to hide?
Another question also lingers in his mind: Why does Mydei keep getting strange thoughts about him too?

A year after the Winter Soldier failed his mission in DC, Bucky Barnes is doing his best to stay under the radar from both Hydra and Steve Rogers. His hope for a peaceful day-to-day life in limbo goes awry, however, when he meets Queens’ newest hero; a pure-hearted kid with a death wish and a ridiculous pair of red and blue pajamas.
The last thing Steve expects when he finally tracks Bucky down is that, not only has the man been living in Queens all this time, right under his nose, but also that, in the two years since they last saw each other, Bucky somehow acquired a kid.
Alternatively: How Peter Parker effectively fucks over Bucky Barnes, and also totally saves him.

With a little yawn that would not even wake up a sleeping rabbit, he throws his arms to the side in one final stretch. That is, until he feels something hot against the knuckles of his right hand.
"What the-" his thoughts pause the moment his eyes can focus.
Next to him is a red cylindrical object that is no larger than the palm of his hand. The mattress around it feels as if a hot iron was left on top. Yet, the heat does not hurt him.
