    Sophia is a young Cambridge University student living in 2025. Studying Medieval History, she is fascinated by the role of women during periods of great conflict. Yet, she has little interest in the Hussite Wars her academic rival goes on and on about. Why would she ever need to know about that?

    Then, after a freak accident involving a party and some standing stones, she is transported back in time: to the year of our Lord, 1403.

    Sophia is now Sophia of Woodstock, the daughter of the deposed King Richard II and Anne of Bohemia, travelling to her mother's homeland to escape dynastic turmoil in England.

    Thus, Sophia becomes entangled in Bohemian politics in which she is a pawn to be played by the powerful men around her, including her uncle and Godfather, King Wenceslaus IV of Bohemia, and his brother, King Sigismund of Hungary.

    And if things weren't messy enough, she meets a dashing squire by the name of Henry of Skalitz, and the nettlesome but handsome nobleman, Sir Hans Capon, who take her on a whirlwind adventure.

    This is a Cizinka (Outlander) tale of power, politics and sexual tension.
