Greg has been seeing ghosts and hearing voices. He doesn't remember the last time he's felt warm - the last time he's felt anything, really - and he's not sure how much longer he'll last like this.
(Reichenbach was an ordeal of mess and miscommunication, and it resulted in so much unnecessary damage to everyone's relationships. Thankfully, Sherlock's learnt his lesson this time around - he's taken John with him. Problem is: he's failed to predict just how badly their conjoined disappearance would be taken - especially by Greg. When they return, it becomes clear the DCI didn't really cope at all.)

Summary
The sharp, bitter flavour of coffee jolted them from their reverie.
Blinking, they felt their mind click and whir, settling into place. Colour seemed to seep back into the room, painting their world in murky browns and dirty greys. The television was on, an episode of some kids series playing at low volume. Swirling the dark coffee in their mug, they watched as the wispy smoke rose up from the rim.
The clock ticked.
Anderson is a human. Sort of.
They want to survive in their job, especially after all that business with Sherlock's Fall (they're still surprised they got their job back but they have a feeling it has something to do with Greg) and that
dubiously consensualaffair with Donovan that they never want to relive.Unfortunately, illicit affairs are the least of their worries when no one around them is human. And none of them know each other are Other. And Anderson is the only one that can see that. And they lost their meds that help them not see that.
This will be hell, won't it?

Summary
He’s turned an impressive shade of green considering that they’ve been at sea for all of ten minutes. Yuujin studies him briefly before straightening and crossing to the other end of the cabin, where the door had been neatly shut upon his entry. He props it open to allow in some fresh air, then turns back around and sets his hands on his hips. Holmes hasn’t moved from his spot on the floor.
Yuujin advises, “Might you consider the bed as an option, my friend?”
“What good would that do?” Holmes moans. He curls in further, which Yuujin has to think isn’t helping with the nausea situation at all. He has a remarkable talent for twisting himself up into a pretzel, but he’s never seen the skill applied in such a context before. Holmes is full of surprises, though. At the very least, it keeps their time together from getting boring.
Not that Yuujin would mind a bit of ‘boring’ if it meant Holmes would stop looking like he’s going to lose his lunch. “You should have told me you couldn’t do boats, Mr. Holmes. I would have advised taking on the burglary instead.”

Mikotoba clears his throat. “Is something the matter, Holmes?”
“Not at all, my dear fellow. Why do you ask?”
Yuujin shifts in his seat. “You’ve simply been staring at me for some time now.”
“Have I?” he asks. He does not catch himself. Nor does he make any attempt to pretend he wasn’t, or move his eyes away, or anything of the sort. He simply lets them linger on Mikotoba for a moment longer, before picking up his book again and redirecting his attention back to it.
“My apologies, dear fellow. Austen is just a terribly dry read,” he says, entirely unapologetic.
A blizzard drives Holmes to seek out new methods of curing his boredom.
