Tommy has a secret. No one knows. Not the nice lady at the corner store, not the weird guy at the video game store, not Tubbo, and certainly not any of his housemates. He's an alien, sent to study Earth. It's not easy, keeping that secret when he's living with three humans, but he can do it, he's sure.
Wilbur has a secret. He's not told a soul and never intends to . He's an alien, sent to study humans on Earth, so that his people can make first official contact. It's not easy hiding what he truly is, especially when it comes to his three human housemates.
Technoblade has a secret. He's very good at keeping it, but sometimes it's... difficult, around his three human housemates. Loathe as he is to admit it, Technoblade cares about them, and perhaps even feels guilt over his lies. His race wants him to determine whether or not Earth is an ally or an invasion site. But, for the sake of his people and new friends, he will keep his secret.
Phil does not have a secret. He has never, once in his life, kept his mouth shut, even when Puffy tells him to. It's not his fault no one else believes aliens exist. At least his new housemates, normal as they are, seem to tolerate it better than the last guys.

Bookmarker's Notes
An adorable and wholesome alien sbi au. The plot is light and the world building is great. The humor is hilarious and the end wraps up nicely! Everyone got a good ending and at the end all the misunderstanding solve themselves.
Overall a fun ride if you want to read light with no weird possessive and spaceship sbi cliche. Phil the human really gives a nice touch for the pov.

I came to this fic never expecting this much of brutality, yet my desperation of hope becoming their own undoing. This story is drawn out with the anticipation and mania. Even with all those obscure and obscene things happened to the characters, this story still lovingly demonstrates the ever evolving complex sibling dynamic between Tommy and Wilbur. And oh my god the end is even more bittersweet now that they have reached a point of contentment yet never giving up. Not only the horror but the characterization always amazed me of how on point they are to the canon.

“I’m only getting back what’s rightfully mine.” Dream seethes, “He owes me his life, you all heard. I brought him back to life—I revived the dead! Death doesn’t matter anymore, lives are meaningless. Tommy is the key to immortality, don’t you realize? I’m a god!”

Alternative prison break where loose ends are tied swiftly and the kickstart to the "Everyone tries to settle their disputes for the greater good and maybe, hopefully, resolve unresolved trauma!" in just less than 15k words.

Its almost a year later, but this fic still just hit me different. It tore open my heart, ate it alive, and leave my chest empty.
Spot on characterization, details, and layered characters with history fitted into single fic. Just magnificent. No grand plot or reinventing the timeline or story, this fic simply takes the canon plot and character; and notch it up to thousand.
Regardless, a great fic to look back to.
