And just like that, every ounce of hope nestled in Renjun’s chest dissipates.
“You’re kidding me,” he deadpans.
“No, no… I think I know what he means,” Donghyuck says, draping himself all over the greasy table — Jesus, has no one else here heard of self-preservation? “I’ve heard of him before. Dude advertises himself as the answer to every problem, right? No questions asked?”
Jisung nods. “That’s right. It comes at a price, depending on your issue. I can arrange a meeting if you’re interested.”
Renjun leans back in his chair, processing his words. The smart thing to do would be to wait, maybe ask around and get more info on this janitor guy, but that’s time Renjun simply doesn’t have, so it seems rather sensible when he locks eyes with Jisung to confirm the meeting, “Set it up.”
