“Oh, you were fencing Nicholas for a while today, right, Seiji?” said Bobby, cheerfully shoving clothing into his bag. “Pretty rare for anyone to land hits on you!”
Seiji paused in his undressing, fencing outfit half fallen around his neck. “What? He—” he closed his mouth and slapped a hand over the bruise Bobby was referring to. Nicholas watched in fascination as Seiji’s face cycled through expressions before smoothing out. “Hmm,” Seiji said eventually. “Maybe he got lucky.”
“Lucky!” said Nicholas, slightly outraged, immediately forgetting about his plan to stay out of it. He scowled at Seiji, crossed his arms. “Please. You—”
Seiji smirked, which did more for Nicholas than he wanted to admit. “I let you?”
