Shouta took it numbly. Kurogiri’s hand was freezing. It felt like a haunting parody of something sickeningly familiar. Mist coalesced into condensation too firm to be real, the ghostly imitation of fingers and a palm, and Shouta gripped it much too tightly, but Kurogiri did not react.
