Summary
It’s been 16 years since the mysterious murders of Inaba occurred. A Japanese/American family, the Trumans, have just moved to Inaba for a year for their father’s work. While the father spends his time working in Okina, the mother works on her art at home with her various crafts. Their teenagers, Kenji Truman and his twin sister Kimiko, start the year as 2nd-year students at Yasogami High. With their arrival, certain events from 16 years prior have started to repeat themselves. And while most of Inaba has long forgotten the murders that occurred 16 years prior, there are a few other beings that remember the events all too well.

Ren thinks about it. His life really couldn’t and shouldn’t revolve completely around the shadow world, he supposes. And he’s not obligated to do any more than this if acting doesn’t agree with him after all.
Ann’s going to freak. Futaba is going to lose her shit.
“You remember the Phantom Thieves of Hearts business a few years back?” The director asks. “It won’t be a complete one to one, but I do have to admit that this series’ plot is loosely based on it.”
Okay, now that’s just unfair. Now Ren has to take the role.
So that’s how Ren becomes a Featherman Ranger.
Or, Amamiya Ren becomes a Featherman actor, bases his character off Akechi, and the real Akechi Goro disastrously simps from afar.

“You’re gaining weight,” Mineta informed him in the middle of training. As if Katsuki didn’t already know. As if he hadn’t been obsessively preoccupied with the little bump of his stomach that wouldn’t go away no matter how many calories he cut. The fact that the little grape shit was pointing it out just made him feel worse about it.
“It’s just a couple pounds,” he muttered.
“The ladies will notice.”
The reality was, it was hardly even a gut. Just a little pocket of fat on his otherwise trim frame. The thing was, a few weeks ago, it had hardly been there, unnoticeable, but now it had grown until he looked slightly bloated. Slightly bloated was not heroic. It didn’t matter to Katsuki if ‘the ladies’ specifically noticed, but he didn’t want to be seen as anything but the best, and as a hero, he couldn’t look anything less than the pinnacle of heroics.
