Nagito blinks, startled, as Hajime's face appears above him like an unwanted angel of death. He does not have the reflexes to bury himself under the snow fast enough.
"What are you doing?" Hajime asks.
Nagito's irritation blooms. Cold. Wet. Staring at Hajime's dumb face. Truly the trifecta of suffering.
"What does it look like I'm doing? Sunbathing."

Hajime Hinata has just been accepted into Hope’s Peak University, despite not being scouted like over 90% of the student population. His mother pulled strings for him to attend, but those strings are tying him down from pursuing a life of his own. After an obnoxious encounter with another student, he finds himself slipping out of that grasp and into his own identity… and sexuality, but he would never admit that… never.
Alternatively: College AU where Nagito and Hajime develop feelings for each other while trying to navigate their way into the real world (that’s not a game reference I mean the literal real world)
