Summary
I've read so many of these different chatfics for Blue Lock, and I just adored them so much! So, of course I had to give it a go and get my own spin off of it. I'm really inspired to capture the essence of teenage life in school, with shenanigans, stress from school work, and also taking the mick out of each other.
A little snippet here:
The rose-coloured haired boy beside him pulled out two Taiyakis (Taiyaki is a small fish-shaped snack with a sweet filling inside). He handed one to Isagi.
Chigiri- “Here. These are the last ones I have.”
Isagi- “Oh- thanks Chigiri, wait- if these are the last ones how many did u buy- “
Chigiri- “shh- that’s not the point. Now take it dumbass”

Rin is drowning; Sae, his parents, the expectations and desperation he imposed on himself to be the very best and finally prove himself to be worth something, anything, were really starting to take its toll… and the U-20 match had been the final crack in Rin’s already sinking boat, in the only thing keeping him afloat and safe from the tumulus waves of emotions crashing around in his mind like a never-ending storm. Day by day, each cold, dismissive glance, each sharp, biting word from what-used-to-be his older brother’s unloving, uncaring mouth continued to chip and crack away at Rin’s mind… and, at some point, the prospect of simply being swept away and forever-submerged by the tides stopped seeming so daunting.
