It was an eventful day for Han Juwon.
First it was Nam Sangbae’s death anniversary. Being back in Manyang felt a little bit like coming home. Of all the places, it was that town. But it was an event that had been preceded by anxiety. Meeting Lee Dongsik after such a long time, and the others–it wasn’t an easy concept in Juwon’s mind.
Then, he was summoned back to work. There was another lost soul he had to bring back home. The search went well into the evening before he got to go home. The date on his phone screen has changed to the next day already.

Summary
They’re in rehearsal before their last two concerts in Kobe when it happens. It’s just one bad landing, his foot slipping where the stage is dented slightly in one place. No one else notices at first, but Seonghwa feels more than hears the sickening pop in his knee.

“They said I lied,” Hongjoong said, remembering the looks on the guards faces, the way one of them had punched him in the gut and threatened to make him regret lying.
“Did you?” omega asked. There was no curiosity in the voice, like he was asking the question just to entertain Hongjoong or be polite, not because he actually cared for the answer.
He grinned. “Well, yeah. Had I told them that I’m a pirate and I actually had robbed the facility moments ago, I’d be heading straight to the gallows.” Getting hanged really wasn’t in his plans that day. “Are you going to tell me what landed you here?”
“They say,” the voice replied, mimicking his tone, “I stabbed someone.”
“Did you?”
