Summary
Comeback season.
The infamous time when everything seems rushed, no one has time to look after theirselves, even less one another. Time seems like an invention of the unemployed, a break is a legend of the failed ones, and relief can only be had when they survived this challenge.
It sometimes still shocks ATEEZ how even after years of this dynamic their relationship survived. However, they were forever grateful that whatever clicked for them, worked. They were aware that it hadn’t always been easy, and they had gone through some rough patches—and still go through some, every once in a while—, but they are happy that they are able to manage everything better now.

Summary
“I—” Wooyoung's voice cracks. “I don't—”
He will leave. Don't say it. Don't be weak. Don’t let him see you like this. Don't need it. Let him go back to his game and forget about this. Don't. Don't. Don’t.
There's wetness on his scorchingly hot cheeks. His shoulders shake as he hiccups over a stifled sob, furious at his own weakness.
Both of Yunho's hands cup the back of his neck, thumbs warm against his goosebump littered skin.
“You need daddy, don't you?” he says. His tone carries no smugness or teasing. Just softness, gentle certainty.
The word breaks something open.
OR: Wooyoung is spiraling. Yunho takes care of him.

Summary
San zips back the bag of food and is about to put it to the side to fill the water bowl now when he feels something soft bumping against his hand. He whips his head back to the bowls and realizes the cat is actually touching his hand right now. San freezes, too scared to even move the hand, simply watching as the feline nuzzles into the back of his palm and leans into it so much San can soon feel the soft fur against his wrist as well.
He wants to pet the cat so badly, but just watching it rub itself against his hand is so heart-warming, San believes he’s doing this whole ‘trust the process’ thing right. He very slowly rotates his hand until it’s palm up, observing as the kitty now nuzzles its cute little head into his sweaty palm, eyes closed and oh my fucking fuck, it’s purring.

Summary
“You—You’re the one who decided to stick your stupid barbs in me and now I’m— I’m huge!” Wooyoung gestures dramatically at himself, almost offended by his own stomach. “I’m practically a planet, San. I should have my own moon!”
Or
Panther San and the little house cat Wooyoung are bound to clash—it’s in their nature.
San is all sharp edges and quiet corners, built for solitude, for watching the world from a distance. Wooyoung, on the other hand, is warmth and want, made for soft touches, for attention, for being adored.
And San can give him that. He does give him that—every bit of affection his pretty, needy little cat craves, even if it doesn’t come naturally to him.
Still, there are lines even San doesn’t mean to cross. He doesn’t need the weight of something more, doesn’t need the thought of Wooyoung heavy with his cubs.
But some things don’t ask for permission.
Some things just happen.

Summary
Wooyoung and Yunho have been standing side by side for years, but they've never touched. Everyone else can see the signs, and even the staff are placing bets on when their soulmate marks will finally glow.
Seonghwa watches the slow dance of nearly-there moments, waiting for the spark and wanting to scream when it doesn't happen.
Then, on a rainy day with a runaway cat, everything changes with one simple touch.
