He levels the pistol at John Silver’s head, lips in the start of a snarl.
The John he was acquainted with would have feigned indignation, raised his hands and his eyebrows and used Thomas’s pacifism to defuse the threat. Wheedled his way into a calmer state of affairs. Silver doesn’t flinch, an uncustomary flatness in his countenance as he returns the eye contact.
It falls to James to speak, which he does with as much retaliatory coldness as he can muster. “Get out of my house.”Post series work, set ~18 months after the season four finale. John is drawn to Savannah, desperate for help. James is, in turn, pulled back to the chaos of piracy.

“I guess so,” Peter admitted after a pause, giving the group an awkward smile. “I mean, I don’t—know him personally, really. Because of his… secret identity. And stuff.”
“You talk with him regularly?” MJ offered, and Peter shrugged.
“By superhero standards, sure.”
A smirk slid onto MJ’s lips. “Then you could arrange for him and Flash to meet up, right?”

Summary
Drunk Feng Xin was just as prone to quips, it seemed. But the wine smoothed the edges of it, made it teasing and a little vulnerable rather than defensive. Mu Qing clutched the railing, unmoored. The sight of his once-enemy smiling with light high in his eyes and moonlight bouncing off his hair made something horrible stir inside him. The truth in all its vicious splendor. And shame. Always shame, shame, shame.
A somewhat drunken conversation, and a sober somewhat confession.
