Summary
“Ranboo Beloved,” Tubbo begins, staring at him extremely seriously, “if there’s one thing you need to know about the magical side of this city, it’s to never, ever get pizza made by pixies.” He shudders at the memories and opens up another cupboard. “Never again.”
In which Tommy has a normal sleep schedule, and Tubbo and Ranboo attempt to make pizza at 3 am. (Keyword: attempt.)

Summary
There is a snow-covered peninsula, up north. It’s far, but not too far, and it’s quiet. Nothing but snow, towering spruce forests, icy beaches and more snow. The cold nips at his scarred skin and chills him to the bones. It’s not at all like the sweltering summers or the comfortable warmth on a flower-filled spring’s day in L’manburg. Tubbo thinks he could sleep better out here.
In which Tubbo is so very alone.

Summary
“Hey, Tubbo.” He glances up at their nearing house and then back down at his husband. “Have you taken your binder off yet?”
And, as expected, the blatant silence that lasts until they’re passing through the front door is more than enough of an answer. In which Tubbo is buff and binding for too long, and Ranboo complains (and forces him to take care of himself).

Summary
Tubbo shakes his head a little, unsettled. He’s being silly — everything’s fine. There’s a whole day and many things to do, and Ranboo will get back soon. It’ll be good; he has so much time to clean the house, he can put on music as loud as he wants and dance with himself.
And so he does.
In which Tubbo realises exactly how touch-starved he’s been.

Summary
[“Right,” Hakoda manages. “An honor.”
“Once we will endeavor to meet with equal honor in return,” the Fire Lord says so quickly he starts almost before Hakoda gets out the last syllable.
“Sure.” Hakoda has to forcibly unclench his teeth to grind out, “We’re happy to welcome the delegation.” As if they had any choice in it.
Fuck, but it would have been a lot easier to say no if the Fire Lord weren’t dating his son.]
Or,
Zuko is nervous about making a good impression on his first visit South as Fire Lord, which certainly has nothing to do with meeting Sokka’s father.
Sokka is excited to see his boyfriend after months apart, and is absolutely totally fine with not being involved in the week’s political negotiations. Totally.
Hakoda already has a headache just thinking about how exactly he’s supposed to interact with a fellow world leader who is also a teenager, and also dating his son, and wait--Sokka’s old enough for dating now? When did that happen?

Summary
[In rare moments of whimsy and indulgence—usually accompanied by cake—Azula would sometimes think of herself as one part of a triangle. Half of a paired dao. The northern point of a compass, even, always guiding straight and true.
But she thinks, as she contemplates the single cowering candleflame and the stifling darkness, that perhaps she’s been a lone flame all along.
No matter, though. Zuzu claims to have changed. Maybe Azula will change, too. Maybe she will forge herself into a spear, instead, striking straight and true. Or an arrow in the night. A knife in the dark.
Her eyes flick up to where Zuko just disappeared from her sight, and she snaps, sharp, precise, and feels lightning-tinged fire arc off her fingertips.
Or in the back.]
Or,
Six years after the war, Azula has finally reached her age of majority and is about to be crowned Zuko’s heir. If only Sokka could shake the feeling that she’s plotting something…
If only Azula could keep Water Tribe from bumbling into her plots.

Summary
[Aang cuts him a quick, guilty look. “I didn’t mean to imply that you…”
Sokka raises his eyebrows. “That I…Focus on the present to the point of blindly committing to enormously questionable courses of action with significant long-term ramifications because they’re gratifying in the immediate moment, which is particularly concerning as our chief Maker of Plans?”
“Uh—That’s basically…Yeah.”]
Surrounded by danger and doubts, separated by war and one irrevocable decision—after the world of just-Sokka-and-Zuko crashes into the world of everything else, what comes next?
Or,
What happens when trusting someone suddenly means something far different out in the world than it did in the space of a Ba Sing Se teashop?

Summary
[Zuko blinks. “It doesn’t matter if I’m dead?” That might very well be true, but it still…hurts. A lot.
Sokka waves Zuko’s question away with an annoyed flick. “Of course it matters if you’re dead,” he huffs, exasperated and reluctantly fond in a way that has Zuko’s shoulders dropping. “It just doesn’t matter what you say now.”]
After shared letters and shared wanting and one perfect day—after fire and burning, battles lines drawn and hands extended and rejected in the cold of the North—what can there be left to say?
Or,
When dreams and longing and what-could-be break against the reality of war and what-is, where can Sokka and Zuko go from there?

Summary
The letter was never supposed to be read, least of all by Sokka. But then, things happen every day that aren’t supposed to, in war.
Or,
On a particularly hopeless night, Zuko sends out a messenger hawk to nowhere. He didn’t realize that his messenger hawk is deeply committed to completing the job. And that Sokka happens to be traveling straight through nowhere, at the time.
