"What are you doing in here?" Izuku's words were shaky, and he hated how weak he sounded in the dark.
"I heard you. I thought..." Katsuki didn't finish, but Izuku knew what he was talking about. How could he not?
Trying to act casual, he rubbed his eyes with his knuckle. "I'm just tired from practice. I'm fine." The lie rested on his tongue a little too comfortably, but Katsuki didn't want to know the truth.
"Don't bullshit me, Deku," he scoffed, stepping closer towards the bed. "How long?"
"'How long' what?"
Sighing, Katsuki sat on the bed, the movement almost tender. "How long haven't you been sleeping?"

Baseball was all that Izuku and Katsuki had now. It had been too long for them to hold on to anything else. They may be roommates, but they couldn't be further apart. Until something brings them closer than they ever had been before.

Summary
Short, brown curls clung to the boy's forehead, damp with sweat. His brows were slightly drawn, not in anger, but in concentration. His face was composed, serious, but not tense. He looked like he belonged there. Like he was made for this. The other players were good, sure, but none of them moved like that.
Mike lowered the camera slowly, as if waking up from a daze. His heart thudded, but he couldn’t say why.
“…Who the hell is that?”
Mike writes for the school paper and is surprised to find out that he likes volleyball. Well, not really. Maybe just one of the players.

Will’s baffled expression does not change. “Then why would I be?”
“So– okay, fine, whatever. Should we, like, tell them to get their heads out of their asses and that we’re not– um– dating, or–”
“I think,” Will cuts in, “well. You know what would be funny?”
Honestly, Mike doesn't know what he thought being Will Byers' fake-boyfriend would entail, but he definitely didn't think it would involve this many ugly Christmas sweaters.

“Looks like I bit you.” Will tilts his head to get a better look. All Mike can do is stare at him. His fluffy hair at the front, clumped pieces at the back where he’d slid his fingers in a mere few minutes before. His pretty green eyes that look hazel or even brown in this light, the dark circles he gets when he drinks framing them like intricate paintings. A satisfied, bloody smile.
Mike isn’t satisfied. He swallows thickly, choking down the words 'don’t you want more?'
Or: Will dresses as a vampire for a college halloween party, but Mike thinks his costume isn’t bloody enough. Will lets him fix it. Mike goes into a crisis.
