Gihun’s eyes followed the man while he raised his phone to his ear again. “No, of course I didn't ignore a customer. I work two jobs and Jungbae already left. I'm not even supposed to work this late! You know I have to drive in the morning! I'm a chauffeur too. I need rest, you know.”
As he kept listening, he noticed the man slow down. He was finally done with his stand, so he quickly put out his cigarette and threw it in the trashcan. “Yeah, I'll be okay. I just need some sleep-” A thud.
Gihun turned around to look. The man… He had collapsed to the ground.

“Alright,” Gi-hun says, voice lightening, warm. “Then let me go, so you don’t starve.”
But In-ho doesn’t budge.
Gi-hun tilts his head back slightly, smirking. “Unless you want to eat at the stove. Or with me on your lap.” He throws it out half-teasing, expecting a scoff, a roll of the eyes. Some kind of grumbled “Don’t be ridiculous.”
But In-ho is quiet.
Then—soft, almost shy—“Would you?”The slice-of-life oneshot we all need before season 3 drops—In-ho and Gi-hun, happily married, with no games, no terror—just love, family and domestic bliss.

Summary
In-ho had always assumed that if the games were to end it would be with a boom, and they did, technically, but whenever he thought back to it he couldn't hear anything. Not a single word. Not the planes taking the VIPs far away. Not the crash of the waves against the boats. Not the march of soldiers’ hurried steps. Not even the commands that left his own mouth. The only sound he could remember was the struggling whispers of breath from Gi-hun's broken body. Even as he watched the island explode he didn't hear a thing.
In-ho never thought about the end of the games. Now, faced with the consequences of his actions, as Gihun lay comatose, he makes another irreparable decision.
