"It just works better like that. Taking his mind off of the logistics and the meaning of it all and the implications lets him put that focus to better work on the actual thing he cares about: hockey. It really isn’t that different from outsourcing his branding to Mom, or any less embarrassing than his dietician meal prepping for him or his trainer mapping out his workout plan.
