Summary
Nesta and Cassian dated years ago. Their relationship was passionate in the best and worst of ways, causing them to split just short of a few months together. Ever since, they’ve fallen into a pattern of communicating physically; a true definition of hot-and-cold if there ever was such a thing. They have made attempts to move on, to be with other people, but something has always pulled them right back to each other.
Their insistence on each other created quite the toxic dynamic for themselves and the important people in their lives, dismantling relationships and creating secrets that never needed to be. They’re a complete mess, both together and as individuals, but the thought of being without the other seemed impossible.
This au follows their sordid affair and their individual healing. Hopefully, it’s not all a day late and a dollar short.This is a Nessian toxic relationship au inspired by the song "Is There Somewhere" by Halsey. (Lyrics in the Notes at the end in case you haven't heard it)

Summary
Some post-war, pre-acosf Nessian angst/ longing— because that's what called to me, okay?
We got hints of the strained relations during that Nessian era, but we didn't get the full visibility. This was an attempt at a glimpse into one of those interactions— where the pull is there, but the barriers are, too. Nesta doesn't quite understand everything that comes with her new existence and is still trying to find her place in it all. Cassian attempts to stay out of her way and give her space, but their draw to the other has a mind all its own.
Nesta is also very unfamiliar with Fae norms and customs, and that only adds to the unresolved tension between the two of them.
This is an angsty one-shot written for my wonderful and patient friend who made zero complaints about getting her Secret Santa gift in March 😅

Nessian high school au
Nesta Archeron is embarking on her final year at Velaris High School and looking forward to leaving her life behind to study on the opposite side of the country. She’s moody, cut-throat and generally unimpressed, fueled by her will to survive this last stretch of Hell— everyone’s opinions be damned.
Cassian Enalius has a mysterious background, making him rather notorious across the Velaris High School campus. He’s handsome, charming and cares least about the reputation that precedes him, which somehow makes others all the more interested in him. Things come to a head when he’s approached by Tamlin Spring with a seemingly straight-forward arrangement, although Cassian should have known better.
The problem is that the arrangement involves Nesta Archeron. Cassian learns quickly that nothing about Nesta is straight-forward, and Tamlin’s expectations prove to be a bit more difficult than he originally thought. He is at a loss until he’s approached by Rhysand and Azriel, who offer their help in eroding Nesta’s carefully built walls.
All he has to do is take Nesta on a date or two. What could possibly go wrong?

Summary

Lysandra isn't sure what Arobynn's motives are regarding Aelin, only that her role requires that she pull Aedion away by any means necessary.
Much to her surprise, the Prince of Terrasen is charming and friendly, eager to dance and spend time by her side. Until Aedion reveals that he's on a mission of his own, and Lysandra finds herself confronted by Aelin's court with a lucrative job offer. The problem is that it requires that she provide intel on Arobynn, putting herself and her family at risk and challenging everything she thought she knew of her life.
Primary story told through Lysandra POV— series will include chapters from other POVs and some vignettes.
