Geralt almost says no. It would be so much effort, to go to the brothel, to have someone picked out for him, to do the song and dance of what everyone always expects from him. But the free food and bath is enticing, and he’d be a fucking idiot to turn down a free fuck. “Sure,” he mutters. “So long as it’s free.”

Miles is overwhelmed, terrified, in pain, and alone because of being hunted by the entire spider society. He hurts all over and he's sure he's gonna die.
The Spot realizes that both him and Miles are anomalies. Spot offers to help him, saying it's okay and that he no longer means harm. Spot says that they can be friends, and his reasoning was:
“We can be friends, Spider-man. We’re both anomalies. As I said when we first met, I made you, and you made me. As creators and creations, we should work together in this mess and fight against the binary.”

Miles wondered if it was a trick of the light when Hobie’s eyes flashed a beautiful, vibrant pink when he touched his shoulder.
“Let yourself be Miles for a minute. Like you said,” Hobie explained softly, “not Spider-Man. Not the guy saving the multiverse, or swinging around the city - just Miles.”
___Miles finally makes it back to his universe, jaded and filled with self-doubt. He grapples with forgiving his friends, telling his parents that he's Spider-Man, and saving his dad.
Hobie is his constant through it all.

Summary
Miles was betrayed. Betrayed by his (only) friends, by his mentor, by gwen. Besides Hobie (who he barely knew), every single spider-person close to him lied to him, time and time again, and then refused to stand up for him when he needed them most. Now, he is stuck in a foreign universe, trying to find a way home while evading himself and his Uncle.
Gwen stacy is racked with guilt. She needed to find her friend, and lay herself prostrate at the altar of forgiveness. She lied to him, to Miles, avoided confrontation like she always does, and now she may have lost him forever. But guilt has to wait; Miles is trapped somewhere, and he needs her help to get him safe.
(Or: Gwen and Miles reunite, eventually. (It dosent go that well.)
