    Summary

El runs and she keeps running until she's about as far away from home as she figures she can get. And as the years go by, she manages to carve out a peaceful sort of existence. It's not a happy life, but she's content with the knowledge that the loved ones she left behind are safe and happy.

But while Mike's safe, he's not happy, not by a long shot. He's living a half-life, living under the shadow of the love he lost... of the love he knows is still out there, somewhere, waiting for him to find her.

And when Mike finally has enough of surviving without living and embarks on an aimless journey to find her, El knows her days of isolation are behind her. Because the longer Mike tries to search for her, the more attention he brings to himself and the more likely he'll put himself in danger. So she leaves a trail of breadcrumbs to guide him to her, as always willing to do anything to keep him safe.

And when they reunite in the sleepy village El has learned to call home, they'll learn if they can move past the shadow of the history they share... and if they can rediscover the love that once shone brighter than the sun.

    COMPLETED being edited and rewritten!

25 years after a virgin lit the black flame candle, two of his children and their friend sneak into the Sanderson house, steal their spell book, and run. Now the candles been relit, old enemies and new allies abound, and twists and turns arise as the stakes grow only higher. Who will emerge victorious, and who stands to lose it all?

This is based entirely off my misinterpretation of the execution scene with Thackeray's family. LOL.

    Summary

Maysilee wakes up to find herself in the Capitol, and she's not sure what exactly she did so wrong as to end up in hell. Hell––this has to be––because she's wearing a fashion crime also known as a hospital gown, and she most certainly died.

    But she's not dead anymore.

The 50th Hunger Games' Victor, Haymitch Abernathy, killed himself immediately upon winning. Desperate to rectify this blip, and unable to put the 1000 bits of Haymitch back together, the Gamemakers moved down the list of fallen tributes trying to resuscitate them one by one. Silka's brains were mush under Haymitch's axe. Lou Lou's brain was intact, but completely severed from the rest of her body. The rest of the tribute's bodies had long started to rot. Maysilee, despite the President's qualms with her murdering one of the Gamemakers, could be patched up with twelve stitches, a couple pints of donated blood, and some simple card-stacking of the Games' footage.

Enter: Maysilee Donner, Victor of the second Quarter Quell!

In the palm of her wrinkled hands sat the aforementioned tape. Visually uninteresting, reminiscent of the seventy or so other tapes that currently sit in an archival storage vault in the Capitol. But apparently it was more than what it seemed.

    Summary

The idle thought at the back of Glinda’s mind is that Nessarose never talked about her sister as beautiful.

She shakes herself to stop those thoughts, knowing she can’t have them, and instead gives Elphaba a smile. “Congratulations,” she says sweetly. “Nessarose never told me how talented you were.”

“Thank you,” Elphaba says, and takes a sip of her champagne. “So kind of you to come over when there are still reporters watching.”

    “I...I didn’t-”
