Sebastian tilted his head, eyes playfully narrowed with an expression similar to a purring cat. Ciel wanted to snicker. “See, Phantomhive? Your seniors agree, it’s only right for me to give you a clean bill of health and some water. Come back to my study, won’t you?”
“If you all insist,” sighed Ciel, going so far as to need to lean on Sebastian for support as their gaggle of concerned students tightened around them. “I just don’t want any preferential treatment, you know.” He sniffled. “I only want to make you all proud.” If he wasn’t mistaken, he felt Sebastian’s body twitch with stifled mirth.
They’d barely closed the door to Sebastian’s office when Ciel broke character and wheezed with laughter.

Summary
It shouldn't be this disappointing that Sebastian chose to not fight him on the issue. Strange, too, given how much Sebastian himself enjoyed a bit of trivial bickering. It's the type of distraction Ciel would welcome right about now; it would make the lingering dizziness easier to ignore.
