He had given up trying to spin into a narrative, hell, he had sat down in front of his mother's old typewriter (no way in hell he would trust a fucking computer with the feds all up his ass). So naturally, the next best thing was getting someone else to tell it.
He got the contact information from Eve. A freelancer. Some twenty-something punk from L.A. who had made a name for himself to tell real-life chronicles of different controversial personalities across the country.
So yeah, he called the kid to write his memoir.

And it was true. Standing atop a building as Robin. If someone were to look up, they would definitely think he was the real deal and the thought left him beaming. Jumping in place, Tim gave another whoop, punching the air and then bending over into a fit of high pitched laughter. This was all the joy he would ever need for the rest of his existence.
And then someone screamed.

Tim would be the one to make his parents' company legit, they wouldn't have to rely on drug money. His dad did say that the company would be his one day.
Straightening his back, Tim looked at his parents and the idea became resolute.

Summary
The holidays are Tim's most favorite time of year.
He doesn't mean that like most people mean it, where they say "holidays," but they really only celebrate the one, and all the others are just happening at the same time. Tim celebrates ALL the holidays.
He's usually very good at keeping the various family tradition stories straight, too. He's been Jewish; he's been Christian; he's been pagan; he's been Muslim. Sometimes all at the same time. But this year...well, this year the Waynes are suddenly getting involved, and Tim starts to realize how hard it is to keep stories straight and less-than-stellar upbringings hidden when people are actually listening to you.
It's weird, Tim decides. And he's not sure he likes it.
(A year in the life of Tim Drake, as told through the various holiday parties of the Gotham elite and the unexpected lessons on privilege, bias, and various -isms that come with 'em. And maybe a little bit of friendship and understanding along the way, since we all know this has to end with Tim joining the Batfam early, right?)

Summary
Tim was only a hero for a short time, and that short time was longer than he had wanted it to be. Gotham needs a protector, and Batman was pushing away anyone offering help, so Tim had to take away that choice. Two months of hero work is all he does, and he ends knowing that the Bats hate him, since he somehow messed up so much that Bruce broke his own rule of "No metas in Gotham" to try to get Tim caught. It was pure luck that let Tim escape the new hero going by "Superboy" on Tim's final day in a cape.
Its been years since then, and Tim had quit doing night activities cold turkey, but was still able to keep track of which Bat joining the family was which civilian, and to avoid said civilians at all cost. Day crime in Gotham has escalated so much that the Day Patrol is Signal, Supergirl and Superboy. Officially allowing Metas in!
The empty house next to the Drakes was just bought by Kara Danvers for her and her nephew, Conner, to live in.
In Tim's eyes, Conner is terrifying, and seems to have Tim as his target for whatever his plans are.
In Conner's eyes, Tim is his first and best friend at his new school, his first civilian friend, and kinda cute.- Language:
