Summary
When John returns to Arthur from the Dark World, there’s a lot for him to grapple with. The reality of what happened there, keeping it a secret per his deal with Kayne; Arthur, as cold and ravaged as the town of Addison. Returned to Arthur’s body, John still retains the ability to see the final moments of the deceased. But now, when John touches Arthur’s skin, he sees Arthur’s deaths. All of the times things almost ended very differently. Arthur is hell bent on bringing about such an outcome on his own, and John has seen enough death for one lifetime – especially deaths of the person he cares about most.

Summary
As long as he’s known Arthur – as long as he’s hated and tolerated and liked and loved him – John has wanted his own body. An identity all his own. When he and Arthur find a way to make it happen, it should be perfect. It needs to be perfect. But Arthur still can’t see, and John makes some unfortunate discoveries about his new body, and they’re both having a hell of a time of it. They aren’t alone, but it’s hard to remember that when you don’t share the same moral frame anymore. Hard, but not impossible.

Summary
The Lonely is a place. The Lonely is a thing. The Lonely is an It. It chews you up and swallows you and, if you’re very lucky, it will spit you back out again. But you’re sanded down smooth, cracked and sun-bleached and dripping ice cold vapor from every pore.
The Lonely leaves Martin temporarily colorblind. He might feel more like himself as he gets his colors back, but what about the parts of him that aren't so easily changed? A Safehouse-era, Lonely recovery fic with color as a central motif.

“Maybe you can tell me what happened, then.” Jon can feel the bite in his voice where his panic is seeping through. “Who are you?”
The man’s face doesn’t change, but his eyes flash and he takes in a quick breath, and Jon feels welling guilt that he made this man with such a kind-looking face look…sad.
“I’m–” A breath, more controlled than the last one. “My name is Martin. Do you mind if I come in?”

“He’s like-" Martin squints somewhere between the bar and the emergency exit sign past Sasha's head. He thinks about Jon, and his stupid sweater vests and his stupid glasses, his stupid soft-looking hair and his stupid high cheekbones on his stupid handsome face that’s always scowling in a way that is — unfortunately — painfully attractive.
“A cactus.”
After Martin makes an off-handed comment to Tim and Sasha comparing Jon’s approachability to that of a cactus, Tim buys his one as a joke. Martin isn’t exactly amused (or so he says), but he’s always wanted to get into gardening, so he keeps it at his desk in the Archives. The place could use a little green, anyway.
Martin's POV from season 1 to season 4, using a cactus as an emotional focal point. Mainly focused on Jonmartin, but a good dose of season 1 friendship as well.

Summary
Martin stands. His feet are numb and his knees protest as loud as they can and Martin doesn’t think he’s ever felt so old. But he starts walking, and then he starts running. Not blindly. The fog shifts around him, and Martin knows it. He knows the fog, he was a part of it once — maybe he still is. Maybe he will be forever. But he thinks about Jon, and moves towards where the fog is the thickest. Wherever the Lonely doesn’t want him to go is where he needs to be.
In s5, Jon becomes a temporary victim of Martin's domain. Slight canon divergence in the way an Eye/Lonely domain manifests itself. Hurt/comfort and angst with a happy ending. Parallels to MAG 159 all the way down, babey.
