She blinked twice before bringing her eyebrows together to sit heavily above narrowed eyes. It seemed like that and pity were the only two emotions Schlatt would get out of her today."
(( this is technically part two to my other story "His Name Is Tubbo" that I wrote back in 2020! It can totally be read on its own though,, theres literally like two or three SENTENCES that reference p.1 so ull be fine,, AND pepehands to me dog so close to 10k words 😞✊ ))

The man grunted as bullets drilled into his back. Peter heard orders yelled and heavy footsteps. "Ah, shitshitshit. Ok so. The plan. Here it is... we.. uh, we will um.... rock you..?"
A HYDRA agent pulled him off of Peter. "Fucking-! You run that way and I'll meet you in a sec!" He yelled and pointed in a vague direction before being slammed into the ground.
"Help me V, I can't move," Peter panicked but was already standing and running.
They rounded a corner into a hallway, a different one than before. They ran halfway down before Peter collapsed against the wall. He was breathing heavily and his whole body hurt, they were both tired, not used to this much activity.
We were followed.
ORWhat happens when S.H.I.E.L.D gets infected with a H.Y.D.R.A rat and New York's Crime Fighting Spider goes missing?
Well, The Avengers do their best but H.Y.D.R.A planed this, they have bases all over the country; with their hands full they trust Deadpool to help find and bring back their fellow hero.

“Tommy! Tommy, can you hear me?” She scooped up the body and Whisper finally got a decent look at him.
He was young, too young to be passed out alone in a rainy alley. His blonde hair was darkened by water and streaks that must have been blood if his batter face was anything to go by. His skin was pale and his body trembled slightly, even in unconsciousness.
Whisper moved side by side with his partner, pulling out first aid supplies and searching for major injuries. “You know this kid?” he asked.

Summary
Most crime fighters are heroes, superpowered people who were trained at a young age to beat the bad guys and serve the everyman, born and raised to protect and save the lives of those who couldn't defend themselves. Pretty much every kid wanted to grow up to be a hero, obviously. Fame, fortune, fighting, it was every tiny child's dream, but only a select few were allowed to become heroes, especially not powerless ones.
And that was just Tommy's issue, he was powerless.
It seemed that everyone around him had some sort of quirk or superpower that made them stronger, that gave them incredible abilities like no other, but Tommy, arguably the kid who wanted to be a hero the most, was left untouched by luck.
But that didn't mean he couldn't help out. Far from it, in fact.
Or...
Tommy is a vigilante, kicking ass and fighting crime, but catches the attention of a few familiar faces.

He’s The Captain?
This was not good. This was so not good.
There were theories of course, of what The Captain would look like. Most followed the typical Hollywoodesque belief that he was some version of the Godfather, sitting in a dark room with a cigar, commanding his forces with a flick of his wrist. There were even some that even thought that The Captain was not one person, but a whole network of people with eyes and ears everywhere.
The blonde Adonis in front of him was definitely not what Tony was expecting.
Of course, in the end it didn’t matter.
There was a reason no one knew what The Captain looked like.
Because anyone who saw his face never lived to tell the tale.
