Summary
Alex always knew that his intelligence work made him a target, but when his entire class was targeted with him, he thought MI6 might actually make an effort to protect them. Unfortunately, MI6's idea of protection and Alex's are very different, and when Alex and his class are sent out of London to the Brecon Beacons to learn something about self-defence, Alex has to learn how to keep himself alive and his classmates safe, without letting any of them know his secret. Something is going on, something more than just the attacks on his class, and Alex just doesn't know what it will endanger first: his secret, or his life.
Set post-Scorpia.
Please note: the tag for sexual abuse is used because of actions taken by a character in the second half of this fic. No actual sexual assault takes place.

Jaskier's start in life was unfortunate, but sadly not unheard of. He was put in a sack, less than an hour old, and chucked in the river. For many in his position that would of been the end of it, but the Yaruga heard his cut off wail and swept him into her loving embrace.
Less than an hour old and Jaskier had already died and been reborn as the newest child of Mama Yaruga.

“Geralt!” Jaskier breathes and waves his hand. It’s made difficult by Geralt still holding it, but Jaskier tries his best. “My hand moves! Without me moving it!” He looks up at Geralt, his eyes massive. “Have you ever heard of such a thing?!”
“Yes, you’re very talented,” Geralt says, and Jaskier thinks he would like to kiss him for that, but the witcher seems very high up away. “Now go to sleep.”
(After an attack, Jaskier is under the influence of painkillers). (It goes about how you would expect).
