Summary
Lance loves being an omega. But, unfortunately, society does not love that Lance is an omega.
Still, society's beliefs have never been enough to keep Lance from doing what he wants. So, he fakes his way through life as a beta. He attends the Garrison, meets his best bro, discovers his sworn rival, and becomes the blue paladin of Voltron, all while ignoring his true dynamic.
However, as the fight between the Galra and Voltron intensifies, tensions begin to run high on the castle ship and Lance finds his situation becoming increasingly precarious. He assumed his mind would clear itself of all his pointless anxieties once he and Langa made up. He looked over the rail, at the horizon of stacked houses and busy roads, as he skated through the tunnel that lead to the place he was supposed to meet his closest friend. He closes his eyes around the thought of Langa being there, excited to see him. Ready to start their day together.
It didn’t make sense for him to still be upset, right? They’d made up. They’d apologized to each other.
