Summary:
[an ofmd smau sequel] Several months after the events of Edelweiss, Stede is left (still) picking up the pieces of his ruined life in the aftermath of the ‘airport incident’. With the closure of Blackbeard’s, Ed (and Ed’s floristry business) has gone underground, avant-garde and invite only—working almost exclusively with celebrities, A-list socialites and business moguls under the moniker ‘The Kraken’. Stede chases down a phantom, while the crew recover from losing their jobs and being abandoned in New Zealand.

Summary:
If you haven't already, I highly recommend reading the first installment of this series- Edelweiss. The premise: Stede fulfills his lifelong dream of opening a tattoo studio (despite constant pushback that he just isn’t cut out for the lifestyle) and Ed (famous celebrity florist and notorious tattoo haver) catches wind of an interesting parlor opening nearby.
