Summary:

Lyra Granger-Malfoy knows her father will never approve of her relationship. When she finds out that her best friend Rose is also hiding a significant other as well, she decides that her mother's Ministry Christmas Gala is the time to reveal her relationship so Rose will look good in comparison.

As long as she can get her not-actually-an-uncle-no-matter-how-close-he-is-to-her-mother to agree.

Rose Weasley is tagged as a character, however, in this AU, she is the daughter of Ron Weasley and Susan Bones! Ron and Hermione were never married and never had any children.

Draco and Hermione are married and have two children, Lyra and Scorpius. Ron and Susan are married and have one daughter, Rose. Neville and Pansy are married and have two children, Hawthorne and Ivy. Harry and Ginny have their canon children, James, Albus, and Lily.
