Dick turned to the figure on the couch: Jason was staring at the photographs on the wall with a strange look, not exactly angry, but as if he'd just had an epiphany that had previously been denied him. It was because of that expression that Dick chose not to grab his escrima sticks and electrocute him.
“What?” he asked, approaching the couch.
Jason gestured towards the photos, his gaze feverish”Yeah, he baby trapped him! With you!”
Dick really had no idea where that came from, and he really didn't want to know what was going through the mind of a painkiller addict.
He just said,” Now it's not what happened…also, it's not biologically possible.”

But before she could focus herself on starting a family feud that was going to make the two centuries of OFA vs AFO fight look like two kids playing with firecrackers, she had to make sure that Izuku - her eldest son - was going to be safe. Away from All for One's all-seeing eyes.

Project Bloodlines.
A military-funded medical study on the quirkless, subjecting unwilling children to go through what even the most shadowy of government intelligence agencies would consider torture. Most people knew about the project, but they thought it was only a study on activating latent quirks. They didn’t know the truth.
But the worst thing about the project wasn’t the secrecy of what was really going on behind the facade, or the illegality, or even the death toll of both the doctors and the patients.
The worst thing about Project Bloodlines was that it worked. -

Summary
Of course he knows he’s a pawn. He’s far too intelligent to not have figured that one out. But, still, he complies. He follows along because who else does he have? He’s abandoned, Quirkless, functionally useless to civilian society. At least this way he can be as close as possible to his childhood dreams of heroism.

Midoriya Izuku is many things; Quirkless, an Asset, a tool to be used by the Commission. One thing he thought he never could be, one thing that he wanted to be above all else, was a Hero.

Summary
Logically, Akaguro Chizome had seen enough as the vigilante Stendhal to expect both anything and nothing at the same time. It still didn’t prepare him for when they brought in a child, though. And it certainly didn’t prepare him for when the Doctor dropped the boy off in his cell afterwards along with a first aid kit and told Chizome to take care of him.
Or; Chizome and Izuku are taken to be test subjects for Doctor Garaki’s quirk experiments. The events that result from this are nothing like what anybody expects. Still, Izuku wants nothing more than to be a hero, even with an ex-vigilante as his new dad.
