Summary
A rival family is stealing the Patricolo Family’s Boston shipments and collecting a neat payday five hours away on the streets of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Their Don, Dean Winchester, is wary about reaching out to a long-time New York ally. The Russian Bratvas do things differently. The young Pakhan, Castiel Krushnic, is hard-nosed and violent and while violence is mainstay in any underworld family, this boss has a special flair for it. It leaves an uncomfortable taste in Don Winchester’s mouth.
Encouraged by his Consigliere, Bobby Singer, he finally relents. The Pakhan is quite different from what he was expecting. Dean learns the man’s secret by accident and decides to keep it to himself. They have bigger fish to fry as they discover traitors in both of their organizations while their enemy ups the stakes for each of them. After members of each family are kidnapped, the stakes get even higher.
Betrayed from within leads to exposing long held secrets and when long denied desires are unleashed it puts each of them on a path that will change their lives forever.

Summary
Sam and Dean Winchester are Legacies of the House of Winchester and Princes of the Line of Ancient Kings. Despite the titles, they are simple men looking to make a decent life in their homeland- even through its occupation of the Empire, a faraway but immensely powerful group of lands that has spent the better part of two centuries conquering the known world. Dean is enslaved in the Empire’s Galley Ships and Sam- well, no one knows what happened to Sammy. It’s on the Galleys that Dean meets Castiel, Senator in the Empire’s government. He’s everything that Dean has come to despise about the ruling Superpower- conceited, ruthless, and unable to think for himself.
When a devastating battle at sea leaves them both stranded on a piece of driftwood, Dean and Castiel learn there is more to the both of them than their allegiances.

Growing up wasn't easy for Castiel Novak and his best friend Dean Winchester. Set a few years back, this story encompasses a world in which the two had known each other since before kindergarten. This isn't like any destiel fanfiction you've ever read before. Dean isn't constantly in denial about his sexuality, and Cas is neither a crazy dom nor a complete twink, in any relationship. Through their struggles, Dean and Castiel find that they are each other's rocks. Dean grows up with a mental illness and his best friend is there for him. The men find more than friendship after Castiel has a bad date and decides to get drunk while Dean is over. One thing leads to another and these best friends find love and happiness in a peculiar place.

Dean is a sub who was never taught the meaning of Safe, Sane, and Consensual. Cas wants to show Dean how wonderful submission can be and he’s absolutely dying to tie Dean up and suspend him. Dean wants to let him. If only he wasn’t being targeted by a psychopath.
